We at One Room LLC (“One Room,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) have created this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices of One Room in connection with our online services (the “Services”), which are made available to you through a variety of platforms, including, but not limited to, www.oneroomstreaming.com (the “Website”) and our mobile app, which is accessible through tablets, smart phones, connected televisions, and other devices (the “App”). The Website and the App are collectively referred to as the “Platform.”
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our Website, Visitors are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use.
By clicking “I AGREE,” each End User and Authorized User is agreeing to this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use.
I. The Information We Collect and Receive
In the course of operating the Platform and providing the Services, we will collect (and/or receive) the following types of information. You authorize us to collect and/or receive such information.
1. Contact Information
When you register with us to become an End User or Authorized User, use the Services, sign up to receive notifications, purchase any product or service, or contact us, you will be required to provide us with personal information about yourself, such as your name and e-mail address. We do not collect any personal information from you when you simply visit the Website, unless you provide such information voluntarily. All information we collect and/or receive under this section is collectively called “Contact Information.”
2. Registration Information
In order to access and use our Services, you will have to complete a registration process. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide certain information which may include, but shall not be limited to, your name, your relationship to the decedent, your email address, phone number and zip code (USA only) (collectively, the “Registration Information”).
3. Order Information
When you place an Order with us on the Platform (e.g., ordering a download of an Event), you must provide us with certain information about the products and services you are seeking to purchase. Such information is collectively called the “Order Information.”
4. Billing Information
When you wish to purchase a product or service, you will be required to provide certain additional information which may include a debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, activation codes, bank information, and similar information (collectively, the “Billing Information”). Such Billing Information will be collected and processed by our third-party payment vendors pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use, and we do not obtain access to or process any Billing Information.
5. Geolocational Information
Certain features and functionalities of the Services are based on an End User’s or Authorized User’s location. In order to provide these features and functionalities, we may, with the your consent, automatically collect geolocational information from your mobile device, wireless carrier, and/or certain third-party service providers (collectively, the “Geolocational Information”). Collection of such Geolocational Information occurs only when the Services are running on your device. You may decline to allow us to collect such Geolocational Information, in which case One Room will not be able to provide certain features or functionalities to you.
6. Information obtained automatically from your online activity
When you access or use the Platform and/or the Services, we use browser cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”) to automatically collect or receive certain standard technical information and other data (such as traffic data, usage data (including but not limited to, profiles viewed, matches made, features used, frequency and duration of the Platform and Services usage, and interactions with content on the Platform and Services), location data, device information (including but not limited to, type of device, mobile device platform, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, IP address and other technical information), logs and other communications data) sent to us by your computer, mobile device, tablet, or any other device over time on our Platform and Services, and your online activity across third party websites, apps, and devices. We may also evaluate your computer, mobile phone, or other access device to identify any malicious software or activity that may affect the availability of our Platform and Services.
When you access or use the Platform and/or the Services, advertising companies, analytics networks, and providers, and other third parties may use Tracking Technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, online services, digital properties, and devices.
The data we or third parties collect automatically may include personal information and/or statistical data that may not identify you personally; however, we or third parties may maintain, combine, or associate it with personal information collected in other ways or received from third
parties. We and/or third parties use this information to (i) enhance the performance and functionality of the Platform and Services; (ii) personalize your experience with the Platform and Services, understand how you use the Platform and Services, maintain a persistent session, and improve and further develop the Platform and Services; and (iii) serve targeted and other advertising, and provide custom experiences, across other sites, apps, online services, digital properties and devices, measure how the ads perform, and for analytics purposes.
The Tracking Technologies used on the Platform and Services include the following, among others:
Cookies: Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. In addition to collecting information, we use cookies to help us authenticate users, provide content of interest to you, analyze which features you use most frequently, and measure and optimize advertising and promotional effectiveness. To do this, we may use both session cookies, which expire once you close your web browser, and persistent cookies, which stay on your computer until you delete them. For information regarding your choices regarding Cookies, please see Section IV of this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Sites: When access to the Platform and Services is made available to you through third-party sites, please be aware that these other sites maintain their own policies regarding Tracking Technologies and the collection and use of information. You are responsible for reviewing those policies.
7. Information Obtained From Third-Party Analytics Services
We may use one or more third-party analytics services to evaluate your use of the Platform, and Services, compile reports on activity (based on their collection of IP addresses, Internet service provider, browser type, operating system and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, data and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Platform and Services you visit, number of links clicked while on the Platform and Services, search terms and other similar usage data), and analyze performance metrics. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide us the data. By accessing and using the Platform and/or Services, you consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Please be advised that if you opt out of any service, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Platform and Services.
Below is a list of analytics providers that we use; however, such list may be subject to change based on how we wish to understand the user experience and we will endeavor to update it diligently. You may use the accompanying links to learn more about such providers and, if available, how to opt-out from their analytics collection.

8. Information Obtained From Other Sources
Subscribers and Customers: We also may collect or receive information from third parties, such as Subscribers and Customers. For example, the Events are recorded at the facilities of Subscribers, and we obtain all the resulting Content.
Social Media: We maintain a presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and other social media and third-party sites, including our accounts, pages and related activities. We may collect personal information when you visit or use social media, including when you access our Platform or Services from social media. We will do so in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policies of those sites, apps and applicable law. These sites may provide aggregate information and analysis to us about visitors’ use of our social media pages. This allows us to better understand and analyze our user growth, general demographic information about the users of these pages, and interaction with the content that we post. Overall, this information may be used to help us understand the types of visitors and users of our social media pages and use of the content. This Privacy Policy does not cover personal information collected by such third-party social media sites. For more information on their privacy and security practices please review the privacy policies and terms of use on their respective websites.
II. Recording of Events
As described at the Event by the applicable Subscriber (e.g., in an announcement, in a sign upon entering the facility, or in a release given to you), if you attend the Event, you authorize One Room and our successors, affiliates, subsidiaries, assignees, and licensees to record and distribute the Content, including your name, voice, image, and likeness via any medium now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world, for any purposes we deem reasonable.
III. How We Use and Share the Information
We may use and share your personal information as described below:
- To provide the Platform and Services;
- To maintain and improve our Platform and Services;
- To solicit your feedback;
- To information you about our products and services and those of our third-party marketing partners;
- To process your Orders and provide support to you;
- In order to provide our Services to you, we may share your information (excluding the Billing Information) with the applicable Subscriber and/or Customer.
- In addition, we may share your information (excluding the Billing Information), with the applicable Subscriber so it can offer you special products, services, discounts, and other items;
- We may share your Registration Information with Subscribers and Family Contacts;
- We may, from time to time, share your information to other companies that we reasonably and in good faith believe may be of interest to you. These companies may provide you information about the products and services they or their relevant partners offer;
- To third-party contractors and service providers that provide services to us in the operation of our business and assistance with the Platform and Services, such as technical support for the Platform and Services and providing services such as IT and cloud hosting, payment processing and financing, transactions reporting, customer relationship management, email marketing, advertising services, analytics services, shipping and distribution, name and address verification, marketing and order fulfillment, email distribution, market research, fraud detection and preventions, promotions management, administrative services and among others;
- To create and disclose aggregated, anonymous, user statistics and other information to (i) affiliates, agents, business partners, and other third parties; (ii) describe the Platform and Services to current and prospective business partners; and (iii) other third parties for lawful purposes;
- To share some or all of your information with any of our parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us;
- To fulfil our legal and regulatory obligations;
- To comply with applicable law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- To assess or complete a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, sale of assets, dissolution, investment, or similar corporate event where we expect that your personal information will be part of the transferred assets;
- To audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies;
- To prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft; and
- Otherwise, with your consent.
We will take reasonable measures (e.g., by contract) to require that any party receiving any of your personal information from us, including for purposes of providing the Platform and/or Services, undertakes to: (i) retain and use such information only for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy; (ii) not disclose your personal information except with your consent, as permitted by applicable law, or as permitted by this Privacy Policy; and (iii) generally protect the privacy of your personal information.
IV. Your Choices
If you have registered for the Platform, you may access, review, and make changes to your personal information by contacting us at privacy@oneroomstreaming.com. In addition, you may manage your receipt of non-transactional communications (other than invitations emails) by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any One Room email. End Users and Authorized Users cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to their account or their Orders. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.
Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies or other Tracking Technologies, the Platform and
the Services may not work properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
You will need to apply these opt-out settings on each device from which you wish to opt-out. We cannot offer any assurances as to whether the companies we work with participate in the opt-out programs described above.
V. Information Collected Through the Platform and Services that is Not Covered by this Privacy Policy
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily make your personal information available to third parties — for example on message boards or web logs; through email; during webinars, classes, telephone conferences, or coaching calls; or in comment or chat areas — that information can be seen, collected, heard, and/or used by others besides us. None of the information you provide through the use of these features is protected by this Privacy Policy including any personal information. THIS PRIVACY POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY INFORMATION (INCLUDING PERSONAL INFORMATION) THAT YOU PROVIDE USING ANY SUCH FEATURES. ALL SUCH INFORMATION IS PUBLIC INFORMATION AND MAY BE VIEWED, COLLECTED, USED, MODIFIED AND/OR DISCLOSED FOR ANY PURPOSE BY ONE ROOM, AND ANY USER OF THE PLATFORM AND/OR THE SERVICES. ONE ROOM CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED THIRD-PARTY USE OF SUCH INFORMATION.
VI. How we Protect the Information
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such information, nor can we guarantee that the Information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.
VII. Important Notice to Non-U.S Residents
It is important to note that the Platform, the Services and its servers are operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that your information, including your personal information, may be transferred to, processed, maintained, and used on computers, servers, and systems located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your country of original. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the Platform and/or the Services, you consent to any transfer and processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and you do so at your own risk.
VIII. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through the Platform. If you are under 13, please do not give us any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide personal information through the Platform without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
IX. DO NOT TRACK
As discussed above, third parties such as advertising networks and analytics providers may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you access or use the Platform and the Services. Currently, various browsers offer a “Do Not Track” option, but there is no standard for commercial websites. At this time, we do not monitor, recognize, or honor any opt-out or do not track mechanisms, including general web browser “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals.
X. External Sites and Third Parties
The Platform and the Services may contain links to third-party websites (“External Sites”). These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by us of the content on such External Sites. The content of such External Sites is developed and provided by others. You should contact the website administrator or webmaster for those External Sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or any content located on such External Sites. We are not responsible for the content of any linked External Sites and do not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on such External Sites. You should take precautions when downloading files from all websites to protect your computer from viruses and other destructive programs. If you decide to access linked External Sites, you do so at your own risk.
Certain Services offered through the Platform are provided by independent third parties, including but not limited to, third-party partners of One Room and third-party partners of our Subscribers (collectively, the “Third Parties”). One Room may collect your personal information, and then transfer such information to such Third Parties. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our Privacy Policy addresses only our use and disclosure of information we collect from and/or about you in your interactions with us. If you disclose information to such Third Parties, or we transfer your personal information to such Third Parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the use and disclosure restrictions contained in this Privacy Policy will not apply, as we do not control the privacy policies of such Third Parties, nor are we subject to them. XI. Notice to California Residents
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they
have an established business relationship (and that are not otherwise exempt) have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year, including the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. XI. Nevada Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain personal information to third parties. Y ou can exercise this right by contacting us at privacy@oneroomstreaming.com with the subject line “Nevada Do Not Sell Request” and providing us with your name and the email address associated with your account. Please note that we do not currently sell your personal information as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
XIII. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. By accessing the Platform and/or using our Services after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of the Information is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the Information. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
